Review: ELF Brightening Eyeshadow Quad in Silver Lining

This is the first ELF product I purchased.  It is unexpensive and good enough for the price.  Although it is not that pigmented and I like it coz it's not shimmery (the lavander is shimmery at first but after blending, it's nice and semi-matte).  It is wearable and blends well for me.
It is not so pigmented but lasts for a good 4-5 hours.  Some say putting an eye primer will make it last longer and makes the color more intense  (i haven't tried that yet)

Pros:
- inexpensive, it's only P120.00
- available locally
- soft, smooth and blends well
- average lasting power
- not glittery

Cons:
- low pigmentation
- not so cute packaging

Will i re-purchase?
I'm planning to try other shades.

Swatch: Aido Classic Lipstick in N

OMG! I'm loving Aido Classic lipsticks!  I found the pink that I like :)
I'm so glad I got this.  I think i'm gonna stop getting new lippies for now hehehe but i still have a lot of make-ups to post :">
[photos to follow]

Pros:
- very cheap, only P50
- available locally
- glides easily
- doesn't dry your lips
- good pigmentation
- long lasting power
- no weird smell & taste

Cons:
- can sometimes accentuate chapped lips
- poor packaging (well what do you expect in a P50 peso lipstick?)
- no fancy shade names, just letters

Will i re-purchase?
Yup yup yup! :)

Swatch: Aido Regular Lipstick in #11

I also purchased this along with Aido's Classic lippie.  Guess what, this is even cheaper!
But I'm really impressed because it is very pigmented, no annoying smell and it's tasteless.
This has a brick-red orangey shade.  And leaves a nice tint as well that makes my lips look naturally orange (huh?! lol)  I dont actually know how to describe my lip color, but now i realized orange suites me well >_<
I've been trying pink lipsticks but it really make my lips look purple and i hate it :(

no flash

Pros:
- very cheap, only P25
- available locally
- glides easily
- doesn't dry your lips
- good pigmantation
- long lasting power
- no weird smell and taste

Cons:
- very poor packaging (it's 25 bucks! o_0)
- no fancy shade names, just numbers

Will i re-purchase?
Not right now since I love Aido Classic more but glad i tried it though, it's very good for a cheap lipstick :)

Swatch: Aido Classic Lipstick in H

Suprisingly, i'm loving Aido's orange lipstick (shade H).  It has a red-orange color but it's not too red and the orange blends well with my natural lip color (although until now i dont know my undertone hehehe)
It is very pigmented and has average lasting power.  Although it tends to get a bit dry so dont forget to apply lip balm.
When it fades, the color somehow serves as a tint and i love how it blends on my lips, makes them look very young :)

Pros:
- very cheap, only P50
- available locally
- glides easily
- doesn't dry your lips
- good pigmentation
- long lasting power
- no weird smell & taste

Cons:
- can accentuate chapped lips
- poor packaging (well what do you expect in a P50 peso lipstick?)
- no fancy shade names, just letters

Will i re-purchase?
Yup.  I think i found the orange that i'm looking for :)
Glad i tried it, very good for a cheap lipstick :)

Swatch: Etude House Look At My Lips in #9

This is my most expensive lipstick so far.  i'm not into branded products yet since i'm still searching for the perfect tangerine/orange, coral and pink lippies.
I'm quite disappointed with it because it's too light and it's more on the nude-orange side :(  I was actually looking for a brighter orange, i guess i should have bought the Miss Tangerine line.
The color is actually nice when it sets and creamy, but i noticed it creates flakes and makes the dry skin on my lips show up.

Pros:
- subtle orange smell and tastes good
- average price, P328.00
- cute packaging
- available locally
- average lasting power

Cons:
- flaky
- feels a bit dry without lip balm
- can accentuate chapped lips
- low pigmentation

Will i re-purchase?
Not right now, but i'll give it another shot and try a different shade

Swatch: CoverGirl Continuous Color Lipstick in Bronzed Peach

I'm not into frosted, metallic lipsticks.  This is one of my didn't-google-before-buying lipsticks.
I kinda regret it coz it's metallic and it doesn't look good on me o_0
Nevertheless, lesson learned >_<

Pros:
- good pigmentation
- no weird smell
- inexpensive
- feels light ang glides smoothly

Cons:
- frosted typed and i hate it
- simple packaging
- dries the lips

Will i re-purchase?
Nope.  i dont like frosted lippies.

Swatch: Cover Girl Trueshine Lipstick in Petal Shine

When i bought this i was still an amateur in lipstick searchin'.  So i didn't thought of checking reviews first o_0
But my trial-and-error stage did helped me identify the type of lipstick that would suite my complexion and natural lip color.
This has a very light nude color. It is glossy and leaves my lips moisturized.

Pros:
- Applies smoothly
- no lipstick smell
- doesn't dry your lips
- inexpensive

Cons:
- doesn't last long
- low pigmentation
- not so cute packaging  >_<

Will i re-purchase?
Not the same line i guess.  I'd probably try a different type since i'm not into light colored lippies.

Swatch: Sally Hansen Lip Collagen in HInt of Nude

This is more of a treatment for chapped lips.  The formula has a greasy feel if you put too much and would make your lipstick creamy of you apply after it.
It has a soft nude color and acts like a lip balm as well.

Pros:
- Applies smoothly
- inexpensive, bought it on ebay for only P100+ (i forgot the exact price)
- treats dry, chapped lips

Cons:
- smells like lipstick  >_<
- not available locally
- a bit greasy

Will i re-purchase?
Nope.  I prefer Vaselline Lip Therapy for treating my lips

Swatch: Prestige Lipstick in Petulant Rose

Finally i get to post my reviews on my old lipsticks LOL
Was uber busy and tired the past few weeks and i could no longer get up to do my online thingy after putting the kids to sleep o_0
Where do i begin now?  Let's start from my purchases when i wasn't into lippies yet :)

Prestige in Petulant Rose

It has a soft matte pink color and creamy texture.  The color swatch at the bottom of the tube is accurate and matches the color of the lipstick.
I dont really know how to describe undertones but i dont like this much because it makes my lips look purplish.

bottom: two glides
